What is C E Ferulic® used for?

C E Ferulic® is a serum from SkinCeuticals, formulated for anti-ageing. This antioxidant serum provides advanced environmental protection and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines.

How do I use C E Ferulic®?

Apply the serum to the face and/or neck after cleansing in the morning. Allow to absorb before applying a moisturiser and sunscreen. Once absorbed into the skin this serum cannot be washed or rubbed off. It remains effective for a minimum of 72 hours making it an excellent addition to your normal sunscreen. Always put the serum in the fridge for 12 hours before you first use it to restabilise the ingredients. Do not store it in the fridge after it has been opened. Do not shake the bottle before use. Store away from the sun and heat as it will destabilise the ingredients. This product does not contain a sunscreen. Always apply a sunscreen during the day. SkinCeuticals Antioxidant Charter: All SkinCeuticals antioxidant formulations have been tested in final packaging and have been confirmed to remain stable and effective for 36 months, and up to 12 months after opening. L-ascorbic acid (pure Vitamin C) is known to change colour with time, however, oxidation is minimal in SkinCeuticals antioxidant and the formulation is proven to remain effective. Colour variations with this serum can range from almost clear to pale yellow or dark yellow.

Which skin types is C E Ferulic® suitable for?

C E Ferulic® is formulated for normal or combination, mature, sun damaged, early ageing, fine lines. If your skin is reactive, patch-test on the inner forearm 24 hours before first use and introduce it slowly.

How long does C E Ferulic® take to work?

Fine lines and texture typically begin to soften after 8–12 weeks of consistent use, with continued improvement over six months. Results depend on consistency, and on daily broad-spectrum SPF, which protects the progress you have made.

Can I use C E Ferulic® with retinol and vitamin C?

Yes, with care. Apply water-based formulas before oil-based ones, and keep strong acids and retinol in separate sessions: vitamin C suits the morning, retinol the evening.

Is C E Ferulic® safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

C E Ferulic® does not contain the actives usually avoided during pregnancy, so it is generally considered suitable. We still recommend checking with your treating doctor before introducing any new active skincare while pregnant or nursing.

How long does one 30ml serum last?
